Finding your way around
Everything is reached from the sidebar on the left. What is in it depends on your clearance and on which modules your organisation has switched on, so your sidebar will be shorter than the full list below — that is normal, not a fault.
The permanent entries
These are there for everybody.
| Entry | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Home | Where you land. Welcomes you by your organisation's name and lays out what the app does, each card linking into this documentation. |
| Dashboard | Live figures for the items you can see. See The dashboard. |
| Tracked Groups | Your categories of items, and where new ones are created. |
| Tracked Items | The items themselves, across groups. |
| Departments | The lens that groups work by team rather than by category. |
| Submissions | Form entries — the documents people file. |
| Reports | The report composer, drafts and categories. |
| Members | The people on your account, and their clearance. |
| Contact | Reaching support. |
| Help | The short in-app orientation. |
| User Guide | This documentation site. Sits beside Help rather than replacing it — Help is the quick orientation, the guide is the full manual. Absent on a deployment that publishes no docs. |
The entries that appear under Tracked Groups
| Entry | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Add Group | Create a new tracker group. See Tracker groups. |
| Supervise | The command centre — every group's current standing on one wall. See Supervise. |
| Parked Groups | Groups taken out of circulation. See Parking and hiding a group. |
The optional modules
Each of these appears only if it has been switched on for your account. If one is missing and you expected it, see Turning modules on — it is an account setting, not something you can enable yourself.
| Module | Sidebar entries |
|---|---|
| Retail | Till · Receiving · Stock count · Adjust stock · Move stock · Catalogue · Price changes · Stock reports · Setup |
| Maintenance | Services · Work orders · Downtime · Assets · Availability |
| Fuel & fleet | Dispense · Tanks · Vehicles · Consumption · Reconciliation |
| Weighbridge | The bay · Tickets · Exceptions · Bridges & tares |
| Property | Portfolio · Units · Leases · Arrears |
| Procurement | Commitment · Orders · Invoices · Payables |
| Time and attendance | On site · Exceptions · Hours · Workers |
| Micro-finance | Collections · Portfolio · Borrowers · Loans · Ledger |
| Mining | Workspace · Surveys · Pickups · Drillholes · Wireframes · Block models · Seams · Mine designs · Plans · Underground · Blasts · Magazines |
Mining lists its entries this way in the Modular view. In the Professional view, the default, it is one Mining entry that opens the workspace: see How Mining opens.
The account menu
Reached from your name. It holds My Account, Themes (your Preferences), Restart and Logout, with shortcuts to the Dashboard and Tracked Items. See Account and billing.
Modules is not in it. On an installation your organisation runs itself, Modules is a sidebar entry, shown to the account holder alone — see Turning modules on.
Two things about menu names
A menu entry and the page it opens do not always share a name. The retail sidebar's Receiving opens a page headed Book in a delivery, and Stock reports opens Retail reports. Where this documentation names a screen, it names the sidebar entry, because that is what you are looking for when you are hunting for it.
The maintenance module's reporting screen is called Availability, not Reports. There is already a Reports section in the sidebar — the report composer — and two entries with the same name is a coin toss over which one somebody opens.
Submissions is built from your forms
Unlike the other entries, Submissions is not a fixed list. It is assembled from the form templates your organisation has created, so it grows as people build forms. Entries for a given form live under the department that owns it. See Submitting an entry.
Taking data off a screen
Nearly every screen that shows meaningful data offers the same set of actions in its header: a reading-mode preview, Excel, PDF, print, and share. What you get is what is on screen — filters and date ranges included — so narrow the view first, then export. See Taking data away.
